Blogging- An art

The twenty first century has seen the eternal rise of electronics, machines, devices and in turn a new revolution in the field of knowledge, communication and socializing. The entire world seems to be compressed within a jewel box called the ‘Google’. The much criticized man’s sloth as a result of this development is simply a misconception. It is true that man find it easy nowadays to find or do whatever he wants with the help of the devices, but what we must understand is this age has created a wide niche for everyone to showcase his views and ideas. In fact, the whole world has become Shakespeare’s drama stage where each one of us perform our parts.

Blogging has emerged winner in the cyber race of social networking and communication now. Millions of people across the globe express their interests and ideas on various topics like politics, sports, entertainment, business or even personal. The page is viewed by millions of other fellow readers who analyze these ideas with their own and decision making ability of people as a whole, is refined. In fact, blogging can be termed as a catalyst in right to expression.

Blogging is an art. Here the skill of expression is being tested. It is true that a person’s attitude is being highlighted in his writings. It helps us understand the world and people better which is an inevitable domain in our life. The Art of Blogging has always been criticized since it’s birth on the grounds that it may hurt some people’s feelings but we must understand that problems are created only when secrets are created. When there is complete transparency between each human being, naturally the distance disappears, problems vanishes. Blogging practice transparency, hence its existence is much needed.
I am new in the world of blogging, so I find it useless to go on praising on something I do not have much idea on. This is my very first blog of my life and I’m here to go on…

Tharoor vs Indian Politics

Indian Politics have been on a roller coaster ride since independence in 1947. We have seen the rise and fall of various powerhouses in the meantime. We have also witnessed the most ingenious and diabolic foulplays of different politicians and political parties to reach their unfathomable desires. Ask a layman his opinion on today’s politics. There is no doubt that he’ll complain that its deteriorating.

The reason is right in front of you. Greed -for money and power. Most of the politicians are more interested in filling their pockets than doin something good for their land. Politics has turned to ‘Politricks’ now, where each party makes allegations against each other in public and engage in secret businesses in the underground.

It is in fact a shame to say that most of our politicians do not even have a graduation to hold against their name. All they have is records of successful hartals, violence and criminal cases. Now, here I’d like to make my point clear. Politics is not supposed to be a place for the uneducated. So far, I’ve seen only one person, who has earned his place in politics and that is none other than Shashi Tharoor. Shashi tharoor is indeed a personality, a scholar, an ex UN under secretary, an icon among the educated youth and above all, a person who has always shown love for his motherland. Tharoor’s thories of transparent politics with use of twitter has often been criticized by many leaders. Ask them what do you mean by ‘following a person in twitter’ and they’ll give a two hour speech on bad effects of computer on children. This is how Tharoor is different from others. He is a rock among the pebbles in Indian politics. And maybe it was because of this reason (that he is educated) and his lack of knowledge in cheap political tricks that he was thrown out of power, so easily, in a much hyped and dramatic controversy. A person with such high- profile knowledge gains dignity in all respects of life except one, which is unfortunately politics. He became an odd man out among the others who simply play tricks for their own benefits.

If you ask me, I’d say that there should be a minimum educational qualification for people competing for power. The nations inevitable development lies in the hands of educated leaders. Education and politics are not counterparts. They are like fire and petrol. Both can exist separately. But they explode only on coming in contact.
